When Windows XP was launched, just like Vista, its new interface was trumpeted as the latest in User Interface technology! But over the years, we have gotten so acclimatised to XP's looks that it has started to look dated and boring!

Here's a nice way to make your XPerience different:

Stardock BootSkin is a program that allows users to change their Windows XP boot screens.

Unlike other programs that can change the Windows XP boot screens, BootSkin does so in a safe manner. It doesn't patch the Windows XP kernel. Nor does it require the user to download replacement Windows XP kernels to do so.

The only reason I don't like WB is because it slows down my system to much lol, I soooo want that theme, IT LOOKS SO GOOD!

What are the names of the themes, I might give it another shot - the last theme I used contained transparency in some of the images, so that could be why it was slow.

I've used Boot Skin myself in the past when I was in the customization phase of my computer along with Windows Blinds and Custom Desktop. All great programs and most skins can be found at Stardock.com - Your Edge In Software (I think, it's been a while).
