A great feature about Windows Vista is that it has the parental controls feature. It allows you to restrict the time of the day a certain user can access the computer, the websites they can access, the games on the computer they're allowed to use, and even keeps a log of what your users do also. This is a great feature to keep your children safe! That is the #1 feature I recommend configuring on your laptop. I use it to keep my brother productive and limit the amount of time that he is allowed to play a game on the family computer. I also block certain websites at certain times of the day so that he doesn't waste his time. This is the #1 feature in my book!

Yeah, the parental control features are definitely awesome. It's too bad Vista doesn't do more for me, personally, than it does. Granted, I don't exactly have the most adequate hardware to run Vista like I would like to, but once you get past the performance issues that a lot of people experience, Vista is feature-rich. There are so many things like the parental controls that you would've otherwise needed a third-party application to run.
