|  Discount?: The Student Bookstore Here's a quick tip for all those college bound hopefuls. For those of you who are already accepted into a four year school or university after graduating from high school be wary of purchasing your notebooks and work center needs at your school's student bookstore. Now they'll entice you wiht 8% discounts, fancy flyers, and young, pretty saleswomen at the counter, understand that they're a business first and foremost. What you really don't know about your university's student bookstore is that they make more profit in that department with every new upcoming year for students (mainly parents of said students) purchasing notebooks, printers, portable media players etc. So make sure that you purchase said items elsewher because you'll find yourself with a $200-$400 more expensive laptop that you could find very easily in your nearest retail store. I do personally recommend that when you do purchase items such as notebooks and printers elsewhere, but find yourself other gadgets and software on campus. You'll likely find yourself earning a free copy of professional software relative to major. Also, it's also a good idea to get your fix on bags and other school supplies there opening week as you'll get more saving by pennies on the dollar. So be sure to check your nearest retail store, better yet check out deals and reviews here at Notebooks.com for yourself or your college bound child.
