Default Open Office - FREE

Open Office is awesome! It's almost as robust as MS office, but it's free. This open source styled office is supported by Sun Microsystems and I have been using it for office productivity with only a few bugs.

On my mac It gives me an occasional formatting problem, not that Word never did that. You can even save in MS formats like .doc files, and cross platform compatibility seems pretty good.

Another option is to use Google Documents. If you have a GMAIL account it is built in - there is nothing to download, and it allows you to save in formats such as PDF. Amazing.

It has a program like Word, Excell, Power Point, etc.

These OFFICE SUITES are still being tweaked - please post and let us know what you think if you have used em.

Both of these work on MAC/PC -I know this is a PC forum (Im agnostic and I use both though I have noticed that the chicks dig the Mac I guess they are a little ***ier)

Lol, chicks dig the mac the mac is very ***y, the HDX is a ***y BEAST due to it's hardware being big.. oh god, ok,... um.. sounds completely wrong.. come on, does anybody else not find that funny?

anyway.. I use openoffice over Microsoft office due to the fact that it crashes on my computer :S
They defiantly are great, the only thing I wished they worked on was the GUI and organization of toolbars etc - though, considering it's free, I give it a 7.5/10 in my books
