Can we stop the talk about piracy here? >_< I'm sorry, but I just don't really think it's appropriate for discussion.
Ubuntu is 4GB+ on a DVD, maybe you're talking about xubuntu or kubuntu, the smaller versions?

Nope, I am talking about the full version, not xubuntu or kubuntu, I am talking about the CD version of it.

Btw, I agree - there is a lot of talk about what is illegal and legal in these forums as in, in other topics to.

Default pirates

It is amazing to me that they still have not found a way to prevent piracy. I thought things were heading towards hardware keys - like USB dongle companions. That would be a huge pain though.

ach, can you imaging all the keys you would have? that would suck!
I am very surprised too, it shouldn't be that hard when you think about it - mandatory updates for your software to prevent piracy (they could put in the license you have to agree to that you allow them to download files in the background without anything obvious going on in the foreground - yes, dodgy, but it could potentially help)

Like I can see there are a lot of replies in here. I think this prove that many people are using Photoshop.

Adobe counts that 70+ % are organizations, I read that somewhere. I can't remember where?

That's because Photoshop is mostly bundled with Adobe Imageready, Adobe bridge, Adobe Stock Photos and some other smaller programs.

But yes, most people buy the bundle to get Photoshop or Imageredy and not the other programs.

Yeah this software is not easy to buy. I have hobby of photography and i love to tweaking photos. even than i can't dare to buy this software. Becasue of its cost i guess most of people couldn't use this software. I know this is pretty powerful but Adobe should think to reduce price little bit.

I do like Paint.NET but after using photoshop for so long, it's hard to use Paint.NET - at least for me.
