| Yes, but my graphics card isn't strong enough, that's why it takes me 50 minutes to render a 640 x 480 at 15fps h.264 .mov 10 mins in length.

| Recording isn't that heavy, I guess. Even if you have an onboard graphics card that is some years old. |

| Snagit is actually pretty memory intensive. I just either use the standard PrtScrn and do editing in Paint.NET. There's also a built-in screen capture in XnView, and I heard that Gadwin Printscreen is pretty good.
