Default VERY curious to know, what are you using MSPaint for?

Ok, I really want to know! Has anyone found any decent use for MSPaint? So far all I've done with paint is draw James Hetfield from Metallica in black and white lol. I'm not exactly sure why Microsoft would package it with every version of Windows. It's that program that no one likes but no one questions, so what's it good for? You tell me!

The Microsoft Office 2007 suite has everything I need, including charts, diagrams, clip arts, drawing tools, and more! I rarely use MS Paint because of it.

I do use MS Paint once in a while whenever I need to quickly make changes to a picture. That's about it!

You CAN definitely make good drawings with MS Paint, but you will definitely need to have a lot of patience, practice, and dedication to do so. Look at the drawing at the below link:

Powerdraw by ~Diamonster on deviantART

This drawing of Venice was made 100% in MS Paint! It took this person 500 hours to make this drawing.

Have you ever tried flash? You might like it.
I feel inspired to recreate a city scene I made in flash now

Sorry couldn't control. That's done in MSPaint ? I bet ,even Microsoft didn't know that's possible with Paint. That's some serious talent there.I thought it was done in a 3D software when i saw it but MSpaint ? It's unbelievable. Thanks for sharing this Shan Gee.

Same for me. When I take a quick screenshot. Age of Empires, Half Life 2. To presenting the beauty of the game (with low details, lol ) or if I have a question.

It's easier to explain with a picture!

Question Hmm...

That one picture in MSPaint... that's incredible, but I would be interested in refuting that claim. I'm sure it's possible and people do all kinds of things just to say they did them (like create an amazing work of art in MSPaint in a time span of 500 hours, lol) but I would be interested in hearing more from the artist. Perhaps a YouTube video showcasing just how to do even 1/8th of a corner side of that image. Again, not that it can't be done and I'm not calling the guy a liar but sometimes, if it looks too good to be true, it's worth an explanation, you know? Very cool, none-the-less! Thanks for posting that, Shan Gee.

Personally, I use MSPaint for quite a bit! Screenshots, quick little cheesy doodles, lolcats (lol), quick editing of photos if I simply need a quick crop... but yeah, MSPaint definitely has its limitations. Even IF you can do what that guy did in that picture, the fact that it took him 500 hours to do doesn't say much for the productivity factor of MSPaint, lol. =)
