Default Torrent Clients

Does anybody have a good torrent client? I'm currently using BitComet for my torrent needs but I think its slow and bulky for what it does. Is there something better and smaller? BitComet is slow and bloated in my opinion and I could definitely use something smaller and less resource intensive.

Thumbs up Vuze!

For my torrent needs, I use the Java-based application, Vuze (formerly known as Azureus). It's an open-source program and has the most features out of any torrent client currently out there! A bit of a warning, though - I don't have the latest version of it but the version I have can be quite a resource and network hog if not configured properly, but that goes for a number of torrent clients. Just an FYI there but I definitely recommend Vuze!

Be wary of uTorrent if you have a Linksys router, particularly the WRT54G among others as they don't handle the kind of traffic uTorrent deals out very well. I use Azureus which doesn't have the same problem. A lot of the functionality of Azureus is tucked in the Advanced tab view. When not in that view, it's a pretty interface with lots of features to use. Probably the most notable would be all content offered through Vuze. They have music videos, HD content, and quite a bit more all for free.

BitComet is a hated application by other client users... I haven't really understood why, but it's something about it making cushion files.
uTorrent is probably the tiniest client there is. Use if you have... well... having little space doesn't make space, since torrents are for rather large files.
I use a variation of Azureus, BitTyrant. It's 18MB but very well worth it Go check it out and you'll see why.
I love Azureus's "aerial" view of the swarm. So does my sister. We watch it for hours XD

uTorrent is one of the best around. it is small, fast and lightweight! What else do you need? Azureus is a memory hog and nothing else. BitComet has an interface that was probably designed by a 3 year old!

uTorrent has features that no one can match, especially the inbuilt web based configuration technique! I can login to my uTorrent client from anywhere in the world and control it!!

Plus uTorrent lets you select the files in the torrent to download, BEST FEATURE EVER!

Almost all torrent clients do that, unless they're insanely old....
