|  Olpc Xo 2.0!! The OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) team are back, even though their first version of the OLPC didn't go to well and they are working on a new project called XO which will run XP, they have already designed their first prototype of XO 2.0! According to Nick Neg the laptop will feature a DVD player, wifi, two touch screens (and much more) which by the time this laptop will be released (2010) each of those screens should cost about $20 and the whole system $75 each! If these guys aren't inspiring to you, I don't know who are. Well done OLPC!  I want one now! They look awesome!

|  It's kind of funny because, at first people were complaining about how the One Laptop Per Child program was a joke when they raised the price above $100. I just read an article online which was quoted on Engadget at TG Daily - $100 laptop to become a $50 laptop by 2009 , but it may be inaccurate. It states that somewhere in 2009, the price is going down to around $50, according to Mary LouJespen (the CTO of the OLPC program). I also noticed that it will have WiMax also. This is definitely a good laptop for the price it's going for! It's also being used for a great purpose. I hope that these laptops truely help everyone around the world!
