Default Macbook Deal to good to be true? Should I buy it?

I found a Macbook on craigslist in my area for $380. It is a year old, still under warranty, looks to be in good condition, and here are the specs:

black, 2.16GHz processor speed, Intel Core 2 Duo, 120 Gb hdd, 2 gb SDRAM, Intel GMA 950

I am going into my senior year of high school, and am planning on buying a macbook right before going to college in a year.

I've been advised to wait on buying a laptop because of how quickly technology changes...but how can I pass this up??

So if this macbook is in good shape, should I buy it, or wait for a year until the start of college?

Even refurbished Macbooks don't come around this price, so this is definitely not a realistic price to pay for a MacBook with these specs and condition. I did a Google search on "$380 Macbook" and came up with the following forum page:
Anyone want a Mac Book 13" for $380US - FPSadmin.com

The topic starter confirms that it's a scam on Craigslist! Don't waste your time, stay away from this. If it's too good to be true then it is most of the times!

I am not sure when the college year starts, but Intel and AMD are coming out with a new range of chips plus the mac book is well overdue for a major update and possibly a new design, if your college year starts at the start of next year, I'd guess to get one after apple update them - which is almost certain to be in the late 2nd half of this year, so January would be a goodish time to buy

Default $380...could be a scam

Unfortunately there are quite a few scams on craigslist, so please be careful. Macbooks generally have high resale value, even ones that are a couple of generations old.
If you're looking for a second hand mac, I recommend buying from a reputable deaer (local if possible).
Take a look at comparable systems on eBay for comparison and remember if something sounds too good to be true it's probably a scam.

Ferric ChlorideHospitality The hostess apologized to her unexpected guest for serving an apple-pie without any cheese. The little boy of the family left the room quietly for a moment and returned with a piece of cheese which he laid on the guest's plate. The visitor smiled, put the cheese into his mouth and then said: "You must have better eyes than your mother, sonny. Where did you find the cheese?" "In the rat-trap, sir," replied the boy.Waste water treatment

Default The Execution of a Great Spy Adolf Tolkachev

In 1976, Adolf Tolkachev, a Soviet aviation specialist working on stealth technology for aircraft, began leaving notes in, or on, the cars of U.S. diplomats near the American Embassy in Moscow. He was interested in meeting with CIA officials. For almost a decade—after finally making that contact—he proved to be a tremendous reporting asset. He provided plans, specifications and test results on existing and planned Soviet aircraft and missiles. The information provided by Tolkachev saved the U.S. government billions of dollars in defense expenditures, a coup that prompted some intelligence historians to call him “the greatest spy since Penkovsky.” Tolkachev in KGB custody. Tolkachev’s espionage ended with his arrest by the KGB on June 9, 1985. On Sept. 25, 1986, a TASS (Russia’s official news agency) news article announced that Tolkachev had been tried, convicted and executed the day before. Although initial suspicion for his arrest fell on former CIA employee and defector Edward Lee Howard, who had been slated to handle Tolkachev while stationed in Moscow, subsequent information revealed that Tolkachev was also betrayed by Aldrich Ames. Please use the links below for more information about each of the following mountain gorilla groups:warhammer gold, warhammer power leveling ,warhammer power leveling, warhammer gold, aion gold For more on Tolkachev, visit “Tolkachev, A Worthy Successor to Penkovsky” from Studies in Intelligence.

Lightbulb knitting make you beautiful

This is a great way to show you how to make a cool new scarf for the fall. Plus, a review of Sabrina Gschwandtner's new Pure Wool Scarf... I have always found it so easy once I watch someone show me how to make pure wool shawls! I could read the instructions forever even with a picture and never get scarf right. This is just great Pashmina scarf!
