Hii, I'm very glad to post my first thread. It will not be that long, so please take time to read it. ![]() I'm a fan of the HP Pavillion serie, but that isn't the reason why I recommend this. First of all what do they offer? (screensize) 14.1" notebooks (artist edition) 15.4" Pavillion 6xxx Serie 17" Pavillion 9xxx Serie and 20.1" Pavillion, The Dragon. (My absolute wanna-have-treasure )If you want to be portable, don't choose for the 20.1" notebook. It's heavy and big. What about the others? What make them better then the other notebooks in the world? This serie is simply one of the nicest onces. It's the perfect match of design and performance. The CPU max is a dual core 2.4Ghz, 4GB RAM and a 8600m GT (8800M GTS for the dragon) The 17 inch notebooks also have a fingerprint scanner. Which is very usefull to people that have to be sure that their files are safe. If thiefs run away with their notebook, then they can be safe they can't read their important files! But what about the price? I have to say the 20.1" isn't realy cheap. But the 15.4 and 17 inch notebooks have a very good price/performance scale. With $1000 you can get one a fast notebook. Can we have a screenshot? Yes you can have one, you deserved this because you read my "guide". ![]() http://www.pclaptop-review.com/wp-co...s-pavilion.jpg I hope you have learn something about this topic! Questions? Post in this topic!

My roommate acutally has that 14" Pavilion notebook. It's actually a really nice laptop. I was surprised that something so small could be so powerful. The only downside to that laptop is the restricted keyboard that it has. The buttons are so tiny that sometimes my fingers hits 2 text keys at a time. On an up note, it has one of my favorite batteries ever! Really, my roommate keeps that sucker plugged in all the time and we all know that when you run on a battery that it's best to run the battery dry and then plug it into the adaptor to charge it. So yeah, he's had that sucker for over 2 years now. He runs WoW no problem and the battery life hasn't died one bit and it's still running on it's independent massive 3 hours battery time (brightness maxed and gaming = HARDCORE).

I heard another happy HP-user? Your friend? ![]() Most people think if you get a big screen (17 inch or more) the notebook must be very powerfull. But that's not always the case. 14 inch or 15.4 inch can be much more powerfull then the big ones! The keys are simply small because, like you said, it's an 14 inch notebook. Their is not much room for all the keys. I don't know how working on a Eee PC would be? You press a key and see 3 letters? 7" or 11" notebooks. ![]()

If people can afford this to buy it, but still and enter the contest... that's not realy honest and cool. They must be disqualified, read in the rules if you can afford it then don't enter the contest or was this not at this forum? But please stay on-topic and don't talk about the contest anymore, at least not here. Last edited by Larrabee; 05-23-2008 at 04:59 PM.
