Sounds like a great laptop. I can tell you that having the option of a second hard drive on a laptop is a wonderful thing.

And unless they've made the quality any better than the old Gemstone line, it'll be utter junk. Again. But what else would you expect from Acer, eh?

The 16:9 aspect ratio screens are intriguing though, I will give them that.

I read about two weeks ago about the new aspire notebook. It's a good machine, Gemstone will be a succes if the price isn't too high. The only thing I don't like is the screen resolution.

1080 is full HD, but still not many computers are working at these resolutions, will some games or programs support this resolution? However I like that notebook are becoming larger then 17". I call it "Portable desktops".
