Default Intel to bundle SSDs with Centrino 2

INTEL is to use its new Solid State Drive capability to bundle such a thing with its future Centrino notebook platform, according to Digitimes.
The Taiwanese wire said it'd been told by PC makers that Intel will add SSD products to the Centrino 2 platform (Montevina), by the end of the third quarter this year.

If its sources are to belived the line will be branded Intel High Performance SSD and these will come in two 80GB flavours, a 2.5-incher followed by a 1.8-incher.

The Centrino platform concept includes CPU with graphics and sound chipset, plus the wifi technology. The addition of a storage drive suggests there soon won't be much left for notebbok makers to add to the platfrom other than a plastic case to stick it all in.Intel plans to increase storage capacities up to 160GB by the end of the fourth quarter, and to 250GB and above in 2009.

I didn't know Intel also made SSD.Good news anyway, a good CPU, even the WiFi technology is included!

Seems like Intel is looking to create more and more products: cpu, wifi, graphics, sound, ssd (storage), etc.

Yeah but their graphics department sucks. Never saw an Intel graphics solution which can be compared with any of the ATI or Nvidia's inbuilt offerings of the same time.

Afcourse not! lol! Intel makes on board graphics cards. You can't compare this with a stand alone.
nVidia and ATI/AMD were creating graphics card when they have started... You can't defeat 10 years of knowledge in some weeks or months.

I don't even know why nVidia picked a fight with Intel for graphics. Kinda stupid really.

That's right, nVidia can now open can's of whoop-ass, pretty amazing to see how far technology is advancing, eh.. (lame)

I was actually saying that we can't compare Intel's inbuilt graphics solutions with Nvidia or ATI's inbuilt offerings of the same time.I'm not even going into the discreate graphics solutions by the Green & Red guyz.

I think you can compare these inbuilt graphics cards. The performance isn't realy lower then others.

Smile more for gate valve

Gate valve is characterised as having either a rising or a nonrising stem. Rising stems provide a visual indication of valve position. Nonrising stems are used where vertical space is limited or underground.Gate valve normally has flanged ends which is drilled according to pipeline compatible flange dimensional standards
