| here is my contribution for addons: Restarting Firefox is always difficult for those of us with dozens of tabs open, because you don't want to lose all the open tabs, but you might not want to bookmark them all either. Thankfully there are a number of options to solve this: 1. Use the Restart Firefox extension. 2. Set Firefox to save all windows and tabs, every time. 3. Set Tab Mix Plus to save all windows and tabs (if you are using the Tab Mix Plus sessions instead of the native Firefox one.) Use the Restart Firefox extension First, you'll need to download and install the extension from Mozilla Add-ons (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1249) Then just look on the file menu, and you should see a shiny new menu item. This will restart Firefox ![]() You can also use the toolbar button if you really want to, but that takes up too much space for me. Set Firefox to save all windows and tabs, every time You can configure Firefox to always save your current place by just going to Options, and then changing the dropdown to "Show my windows and tabs from last time". ![]() When you close your browser, it will automatically pick right back up where you left off. Note that this makes the homepage setting somewhat irrelevant. Set Tab Mix Plus to save all windows and tabs This only applies if you are using the Tab Mix Plus session manager. If you open Tab Mix Plus Options, you can change "When Browser Starts" to "Restore". ![]() You might also want to enable crash recovery… but I'd recommend using Firefox's built-in session restore instead, as it seems to work better for me. If you like my work plz vote for me ![]() |

| I use the following addons in FireFox: Download Statusbar -View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar - without the download window getting in the way of your web browsing. DownloadHelper - The easy way to download Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites. This works also for audio and picture galleries. Forcastfox - Get international weather forecasts from AccuWeather.com, and display it in any toolbar or statusbar with this highly customizable and unobtrusive... PDF Download - PDF Download relieves the pain experienced when encountering PDF files on the Web. Whenever you click on a PDF file, PDF Download lets you know before trying to open it, and then offers you choices such as downloading, opening, or converting it straight to HTML. |

| My favorite Firefox addon would have to be the Codetech addon. It allows you to quickly edit webpages in WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Mode, and it really saves time when you can do that right inside a browser. Another addon I like is the Greasemonkey addon. This addon allows you to create your own userscript and edit the way the websites load. You can browse through a website, click on a tool on the Greasemonkey toolbar, and delete/modify a setting on a website, and the script creates a custom userscript for you and loads it the next time you go to that certain website.
