Arrow Best wireless mouse for notebook users

My current favorite wireless mouse is the Logitech Wireless Laser C-BS35. It has an ergonomic contour, as well as the standard scroll wheel and two-button interface. Extra features are a zoom + and - button, and a 100% zoom button, useful for quick viewing capabilities in any program. It also has browser forward and backward buttons on the mouse, so you dont have to move your pointer to click on the explorer buttons on-screen.
I am sure it has been outdated by now, but it is my favorite. If there are any better than it with the same and/or more capabilities, I would love to know.

I've been using the Logitech Logitech® Cordless Desktop® LX 700, which is also getting on in years, so to speak. I have found it to be a good ergonomic fit for my purposes. The mouse is comfortable, programmable and the full size keyboard is as well. More than the zoom option, I have found having a built in scroll wheel on the keyboard extremely handy.

I've been using the logitech MX Revolution with my Thinkpad T60 and I love it. The battery stays charged for about 2 weeks and the search button is excellent for doing research on a subject for school. The click-to-click/smooth scroll wheel is a very good option because you can use whichever you feel more comfortable with.

The only bad thing I could really say about this mouse is that it has only 800 DPI, which is a no-no for many gaming enthusiasts. I haven't had any problems with lag or anything though.

Logitech VX Revolution here. Possibly the best mouse ever created - small enough for travel, large enough to be comfortable on a daily basis. The best scroll wheel ever, bar none. Its battery stays on much longer than the MX, and it uses one AA battery.

Expensive, yes, but worth every penny.

I don't think your mouse is outdated, not at all! I'm not realy a big fan of wireless stuff but maybe I can help you.

The MX Revolution from Logitech is very good, although it's not cheap I think it's his price worth. I can't choose for you, so take a look at http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mi...s/130&cl=gb,en

The MX Revolution is VERY good (see my post a couple up from yours), and the price is the only limiting factor on it (unless you really care so much about it only being 800 dpi). They generally retail for $100 or so at your local Best Buy (or Circuit City), but I managed to nab mine "open-box" (had been opened?) at Best Buy for $90.

the mx revolution is one of my FAVORITES, but still I would prefer a wired mouse. Less hassle and for me seems to work better. A lot of people tend to get wirelles mice are because they plug it into their tv, put the laptop somewhere else, and have to control it farther away, sort of like a media center hooked up to your tv, and theyre changing the stations with it

It's a little smaller than the MX Revolution, has a great carrying case, and a USB dongle so small, I haven't had to unplug it in over 5 months! It sticks out less than 1/4" from the side of my computer, has never gotten in the way, but if I ever DO have to take the dongle out, there's a hidden storage compartment for it inside the mouse, so no chance of losing it. It has forward and back buttons, but honestly I never use them. But the thing I LOVE the most about it is its frictionless scroll wheel. Just one flick and it coasts for nearly 30 seconds, getting to the bottom of the page or list faster than anything (well, except maybe grabbing the scrollbar).

In some instance I agree, a wired mouse is preferable over a wireless. One case in point - a young child who is first learning how to run a computer (like my 5 yr old son).

Thanks for the insight, My current mouse compared to that one would be like comparing a pushmower with a ZPT riding mower. I'll try to remeber to put it on my christmas wish list.

You mean he would get stuck in the wires? What about the keyboard, screencables, and so on? I also learned working with a wired mouse when I was young.
