Yeah, especially considering that very well put together video he had, I think he's already quite capable of promoting his club.

*sigh* no, no ones getting worked up about it
Lulz really? I thought there were about 5-6 people spamming this thread 5 minutes before the announcement about "O.O OMGOMG 5 MINUTES :OOOOOO"

Yes, I do understand why you guys are unhappy. You guys don't think that the 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, etc will be taken to full advantage by bboy Daniel.

But then again, is it that important? If it's for an important cause, I think it's worth it to sacrifice a little bit.

Like that Sichuan earthquake. Someone donated $1000000 US dollars if Fei YuQing could sing a song for him/her. Do you really think that was worth it? Is a song you can buy on a CD really worth the 6 zeroes? You and I might not think so, but as long as there's the person who has something to give away thinks so, it's a worthy cause.

Hmmm...

Xavier is there a time limit to when bboy Daniel can claim the prize? Most of the other websites put a 24 hour time limit... not to set every else's hopes up or anything, but still :P

this is the reason i would do anything in the world for this laptop...
to start, im 16, and im one of 5 kids. when we were very young, our dad left us and took almost everything we had- money, furniture and all that. so having no money, my mom worked for years as a waitress working all kinds of crazy hours. as a result, our older sister was forced to babysit everyone almost every day, eventually it got to the point where she had to drop out of high school. she was more like our mom. this led to my mom not being able to go to college, and throughout the years shes been slowly working up in home depot, not making much money. so even today, shes still there( i think about 8 years), still getting weak pay, still waking up at 3 am every morning. still borrowing money from our grandfather to pay for food, and still barely able to buy us new clothes when we need it. we do live in a nice house, also thanks to my grandfather. so all this leads up to where i am now. today, im a very big tech lover. as you can imagine i can only admire from afar. the thing is, now im forced to turn to technology. i.... really cant pay attention in school (not add or anything... i just cant...) so i go to school online... so now the computer i have to use is about a 6 year old dell model, and when we bought it, it was THE cheapest we could find. its broken down, and even typing this letter is taking up a lot of comp speed. i can barely get my schoolwork done, and im just barely doing better than i was in real school. but.... on top of this iv spent so much time on the computer doing work i developed a very bad back problem. i cant stay at desktops that long.... i could really use a laptop... so maybe i could be in a more comfortable position for my back like laying down. also, i dedicated a youtube account to making videos of me drawing in hopes that someone would hire me for cheap as an illustrator, even if it was to pay for my own clothes( iv also been trying to get a job at food stores with no success =( ). i cant even make videos anymore because of how difficult it is on this computer, i had to tell everyone i quit making them... also, like most teens- i really like to play games, but i cant keep up with all the new systems. i dont have a wii, or an xbox or xbox360, or even a ps3 either. i could really use it to play games on... i actually have a few games that i cant use on here. this goes for movies too, all we have is an old dvd player that doesnt even work anymore. i would really like to use this for movies.... iv never asked anyone for anything before- but please, i would do anything in the world for this laptop, be it advertise this site, or just stick around and contribute. id do anything.... thank you for taking the time to read... ill try to get my friends to comment. they know all this is true.
I think sharkhead7854 should have this wonderful device beacuse since he never goes to school he could really use this to finish up his school online and he doesnt have much money to buy all those textbooks that he need for school so please let him have this laptop

Guys -- Daniel won it fair and square! Please, lets not complain. We all knew that there had to be only one winner in this contest. Instead of complaining, lets get over it. Besides, Xavier did mention that he plans on holding future contests as well.

I'm trying to line up more contest and want to mix things up a bit.
What kind of notebooks/prizes would you want to win?
Also, what kind of contest would you like to see next time?

Some other nice HP notebooks would be nice or maybe an iPod or Zune.

As for contests maybe a scavenger hunt or something like a photo contest to help promote the site more.

Lightbulb Thanks Notebooks.com, HP and Buzz Corps

Thank to Notebooks.com (Xavier), HP, and Buzz Corps for holding this Contest.

I'll no long be using poor audio and video editting tools. Upgrades in my personal software are in plans and a future video review will be in shortly this summer as well as educating myself to efficiently use every aspect of this soon to be standard of personal computer.

I'd like to personally say that with the advent and popularity of the dance community lately in pop culture especially with the recently popularity of MTV's show America's Best Dance crew this will be a successful mission to reach out to the youth and young adults in the southern California. For those of you who are familiar with the dance crews from the show notablye Jabbawockeez and Kaba Modern, the CSULB Breakers has close ties with them as we find them on the battle and performance circuit. Our work for the bboy and dance community mostly comes out of pocketand our own personal lives unless you're a popular dance choreographer.

Our missions for the club is to promote hip hop, not the kind you see through popularized media on television nowadays, but rather the hip hop as what it was and will continue to be... peace, love and having fun. What we give back is the free recreational tool to dance. If you have an able body, then you can dance even without music. It is one of the most free and available forms of personal expression without purchasing a material item to use next to singing.

Once again thank you Notebooks.com (Xavier), HP, and Buzz Corps

I hope you guys have a t-shirt with the Notebooks.com logo because I'll be sporting that next time I battle!
