I agree but i've stopped thinking about it after loosing the Labnol contest.It will feel bad by entering most of these contests & end up not winning in all of them.You guyz carry on drooling btw.

No, i've actually entered in 8 by now.I only came to know about this contest on 17th of May.So, i've missed the earlier ones before 17th.

Among these 8 contests, Windows-now.com , last100.com & this site (Notebooks.com) haven't announced their winners yet.So, lost in 5 & entered in 8 so far.

I really didn't like the entry system of the the Greenbutton.com.To enter in their contest, you must have registered with them before 28th April,2008.you can't win if you join now.New entrants (joining after 28th April) aren't allowed.As they are not allowing new members to take part, they have only 1 valid contest entry so far.Think about the odds of winning.If we would have registered there before 28th April, we could be able to participate.That person is really very lucky that he doesn't even have anyone to compete with him & will win hands down as he has the only valid entry.

Nah... actually there are about 5-7 valid entries so far. Many of them people who have been members of TGB for quite a long while too. Though that hasn't stopped about 20 others from making an account yesterday and today and then submitting an entry anyway. It's like they read some of the rules, but not the important ones. O__o

Seems kind of fair to do what they're doing though. Offering their long time users the chance. The unfortunate part is that out of the 31 sites participating in the contest, I've only heard of about 5 of them at the max and have only regularly visited Ars Technica, istartedsomething, bink.nu, and digitalhomethoughts (technically, Zune Thoughts). I've definitely added a few to my favorites bar though.
