I've owned a Thinkpad T60 since August of 2006 and it is still currently under a 3 year limited warranty.

Overview
Thinkpad T60 pimps a 100 gig hard drive and 1 gig of Ram. The video is provided by ATI mobility X1400. Fingerprint scanner is included along with a DVD Burner

Appearance
The T60 is black and blocky, the screen gets dusty frequently and those of us with 9 cell batteries enjoy a battery that protrudes from the back of the laptop. Putting this laptop in a bag with heavy books can lead to minor cracks, such as the one I had on my palm rest before I had it replaced.

Drives
The 100 gigs is plenty for a portable workstation, but may become restrictive if you plan on pimping out this machine with media or applications. I had a bad experience within the first 6 months of having this where the hard drive died. Luckily, the warranty had me back up and running within a week and I only lost about a week of data that I hadn't backed up.

The DVD Burner works as advertised and can easily be ejected from the machine with a slide next to it that ejects a tab to pull the drive out with. Nothing I can really say about this.

Interfaces (Fingerprint Reader, Keyboard, Trackpoint)
The fingerprint scanner is really nifty if you're not one to remember that really secure password you set up, but it is sometimes annoying when you don't scan your finger properly and you have to rescan. You should get the hang of this as time goes on and you will only have to do it once.

Keyboard has basic laptop functions, and a thinkvantage button for utilizing the rather disgusting bundled software. I'm not a big fan of the software it includes because it seems rather unnecessary for the most part (except for nice things like the drive protection software)

There are several ways to use the mouse and I have no qualms against any of them. The bottom left button broke at first but I just switched to the upper buttons. Of course, the warranty fixed this eventually.

Conclusions
The T60 is a good computer for work, and it's 2 GHz Dual Core Processor will probably never disappoint the office worker. New Games don't run so hot on this machine, but that is expected for a laptop that is getting to be a couple of years old. I purchased this as a bundle from my school that got me lots of software with it so I can't really say much about price because it's not the same anymore. I can say that it was a good deal at around $1600 for the laptop, software, & warranty when I bought it.

Update - Now it won't boot up...it starts, but doesn't even get to BIOS before shutting down, on battery or AC power.
