No no, the retail stores charge a lot lol, there are places such as msy.com.au that sell things for about what it would normally cost, they have SWEET prices and I don't have to pay for shipping either.

The macs compared to the us are about this roughly:
US $2,499 - AUD - $3,599
that's overpriced by a heck of a lot, if you use xe.com to convert, its works out roughly
US $2,499 - AUD - $2,799 + shipping.

Apple need to lower their prices.

Hardware in retail stores is very overpriced though. 1TB harddrives don't seem to be - I dunno why, they are about $250 for 7,200 rpm which is about $230 USD (roughly)

Meh.. usually B&H photo is good to buy from, we got 2 creative zen vision:m 's for less than the price of one in Australia.
