Bittorrent programs themselves are not illegal, it's what you use them for that makes them seem that way. There are plenty of legitimate uses for them. Lots of people use bittorrent downloads as an alternative to a direct download to ease the burden on their servers, and there are sites that sell content and then send it to you through bittorrent downloads. As long as you're not downloading cracked programs, television shows, movies, etc. with it, you're fine. ^^ |
