It's great and all... I mean I found a 2gb install file for a program in a really odd spot (I downloaded it in Firefox but for some reason it saved it to the Firefox folder in Program Files O__o ), but it can take a while to actually scan all of your files. Great for periodic cleaning of your hard drive though! I use it a couple times a year, or whenever I get really low on disk space and aren't sure what the best program to uninstall would be.
The software is really great at letting you visualize your hard drive. It presents you with a tree view of all the folders on your computer as well as a neat-looking visualization showing file size as large colored blocks. Clicking a block will highlight the location in the tree view and give you additional information just as clicking a folder in the tree view will highlight the corresponding block in the visualization.
When I first moved up to 80gb of HDD space I thought I'd be good but it's amazing to see how quickly all of that disappears and I'm left with less than 500mb of space left. I considered buying an external HDD a year ago but SOMEHOW rationalized the purchase as completely unnecessary. I think it had to do with having a notebook, and realizing that I'd probably want to store all of my music on their but then I'd have to lug it around. Thinking back now, however, I could have just kept the music on my computer.

Or just used my Zune? lol.
What I'd really like to have, even with the space offered by the Dragon, is to eventually have a Windows Home Server. Just thinking about that is exciting for me. I so easily get excited about tech lol. All my files in one place, a network of computers complete with a server!
