The most irritating thing about crossloop was that I needed that authentication code everytime i wanted to connect. What if i have a slow connection? What if i need to disconnect at my end? what if there is a connection disruption? In the end, he will use an IM to send that code, and chances are that he will be using MSN Messenger.....and as far as I know, Messenger itself has the capability to request for online help from others!
So I suggest you keep it simple and use LogMeIn! It's amazing!
Search the forums for the detailed post I made about LogMeIn elsewhere!
Cheers and practice safe computing!

Reevester,
The authentication helps keep the connection secure! Just like LogMeIn requires you to enter in the remote computers Username and Password, CrossLoop's authentication requires you to enter in an authentication code.
LogMeIn is good, but some people can't afford their service. That's the reason why other software like CrossLoop, TightVNC or UltraVNC are better alternatives.
