Task Scheduler Windows Vista has a program called Task Scheduler. It can be accessed from the accessories folder in the start menu. This allows you to schedule your computer to turn on at a certain time, launch certain programs, and perform tasks at the times of the day that you want. Whenever I'm on the computer I don't like running updates in the background. I use the Task Scheduler to schedule updates, launch certain programs, and defragment my computer whenever I'm not using it. This an excellent time saving program! Does anyone else use this program? What do you use it for? |
